Age UK Norwich

Age UK Norwich is an independent charity, working to improve the quality of later life for anyone over the age of 50. The charity offers a wide range of services such as information and signposting, befriending, health coaching, clubs and social activities to holistically support peoples’ wellbeing. The charity’s mission is to create an age-friendly and inclusive city.

Equal Lives

Equal Lives is a disability rights organisation that works in Norfolk and Suffolk, supporting disabled people of any age through campaigning, advocacy and by providing information and advice. The charity is user-led and is dedicated to making the voices of disabled people heard. Equal Lives work to the Social Model of Disability and aims to break down all disabling barriers.

Norwich City Council

Norwich City Council is funding the Inclusive Norwich Partnership. Through the partnership, the Council aims to work with the local partners to understand the changes required to make Norwich more inclusive and accessible.

Age Friendly Norwich

Age Friendly Norwich is part of a global initiative, headed up by the World Health Organisation (WHO), to address our aging population.  Age UK Norwich initiated this project for the city, but has now gained the commitment and support of Norwich City Council. Age Friendly Norwich looks to develop our services and infrastructures across the city to ensure the accessibility and inclusivity of all, particularly as we all grow older.

Inclusive Norwich is a campaign and support organisation for disabled residents dedicated to making the city more accessible. The charity is led by people with disabilities, and aims to ensure that everyone, regardless of disability, is able to participate completely in society.
